Egypt’s Turuq secures Den VC seed investment to expand e-commerce fulfilment

Egyptian logistics technology startup Turuq has secured seed investment from Den VC to strengthen its platform and expand fulfilment services for e-commerce businesses. The amount was not disclosed.

Turuq combines warehousing, inventory management, order processing and delivery coordination, helping online merchants manage the movement of goods through one operational platform.

The investment follows its participation in InvestIT, a programme involving Egypt’s Information Technology Industry Development Agency, the Technology Innovation and Entrepreneurship Center and Flat6Labs.

The company plans to develop its technology infrastructure and extend its fulfilment network as more brands seek outsourced logistics support. For merchants, the service is intended to reduce the need to coordinate separate warehouse, inventory and delivery systems. The announcement concerns seed backing and expansion plans; it does not disclose a company valuation or confirm that all planned facilities are already operating.
