Togo’s communications regulator ARCEP is seeking a contractor to build an interactive online map of fibre-to-the-home networks, with the tender approaching its 30 October deadline.

The procurement notice, dated 25 September 2026, gives an estimated project value of CFA250 million. It allows up to 240 days for delivery from notification of the approved contract, rather than setting a public launch date for the platform.

The mapping project is intended to make network coverage and service-quality information easier for consumers to examine. Supporting procurement material describes comparisons by operator and geographic area, from local communities to the national level.

For households and businesses, that could provide a more practical starting point for choosing a fixed-internet service than broad coverage claims alone. The platform remains a procurement project: the tender should not be confused with confirmation that a new comparison website is already available to use.
