Minicor, a San Francisco-based startup co-founded by Nigerian engineer Saheed Akinbile, has raised $3.8 million in seed funding for technology that connects AI applications with older business software.
Recent reporting by Nairametrics and The Guardian describes a practical enterprise problem: many established systems lack modern interfaces through which new software can exchange information or carry out work. Minicor is building tools to bridge that gap.
The funding is being covered in today’s edition following reports published earlier this week. Its diaspora connection is part of the story, while the company operates from the United States. The opportunity lies in helping organisations use existing systems alongside new automation, with implementation reliability remaining central to enterprise adoption.
