Rise of Fearless, the African-owned mobile gaming venture founded by Kanessa Muluneh, has raised $1 million from Epic Edges Capital to expand its battle royale title.
Coverage published on 3 November describes funding structured through a Simple Agreement for Future Equity. The capital is intended for recruitment, technology, infrastructure, marketing and the player community as the company prepares its next phase of distribution.
The game draws inspiration from Ethiopia’s victory at the Battle of Adwa in 1896, placing African history and visual identity at the centre of its world. Muluneh’s stated ambition is to turn an independently developed product into a franchise with international commercial reach. The investment backs that expansion plan; audience growth and commercial results will emerge as the new resources are deployed.
