Moroccan co-founded Journify raises $12 million Series A for US and European expansion

Journify has announced a $12 million Series A led by Al Mada Ventures and co-led by returning investor Silicon Badia, as the advertising-data company prepares to expand into the United States and Europe.

The 3 November company announcement also names Shorooq and Bunat Ventures as returning backers, with Du Ventures and Oraseya Capital joining the round. Journify says the financing values the business at four times its previous valuation; it did not disclose an absolute valuation.

The platform sends customer outcomes, including purchases and offline sales, back to advertising platforms so their optimisation systems receive more complete information. Journify says more than 100 businesses use its services.

Co-founder and chief executive Taoufik El Jamali positions the company around the quality of the signals feeding advertising AI. The new capital will support geographic expansion and further AI development. Although associated with Morocco’s founder ecosystem, Journify is headquartered in San Francisco, rather than being a Morocco-headquartered operation.
