Oxide Cloud Services is expanding its South African enterprise AI infrastructure through a dedicated pod at Digital Parks Africa’s Samrand data centre in Centurion.
Coverage published on 2 November says the pod provides 260 kW of power capacity, with up to 50 kW per rack, and redundant connectivity to OCS’s Teraco location. The companies position the arrangement as a way for organisations to run AI workloads locally.
The expansion sits behind enterprise services that need computing, storage and networking to work together. OCS says it supports locally hosted AI environments and provides technical assistance alongside infrastructure. The partnership adds capacity to an existing relationship rather than establishing a new standalone cloud company.
