Omar Shaik and Amine Ben Khalifa, the founders of Egypt-founded Atta, are joining Replit following the acquisition of their business-analysis and charting company.

Announced on 25 September 2026, the deal brings Atta’s interactive charting technology into Replit’s AI chat. Financial terms were not disclosed.

The first integrated feature allows users to explore data and create charts within a conversation. Atta’s work includes chart layouts that adapt as visuals are resized.

The transaction shows a route from a focused software product to a wider platform. It is an acquisition story, rather than evidence that every Egyptian software startup can expect a similar exit. The founders’ next chapter will be the delivery of their technology within Replit’s broader product.
