South African venture Paywall Parity is building a tool for app businesses that want to adapt prices to the purchasing power of different markets.
Its Afrolaunch listing says developers can import Google Play subscriptions, plans, offers and one-time products, then review regional recommendations informed by World Bank purchasing-power, price-level and income data. The product describes coverage of more than 170 markets.
The bootstrapped business, founded in 2026 and listed by Motlalepula Sello, appeared in Afrolaunch’s October launch archive. Today’s Just Launched entry is a recent-product spotlight rather than a claim that the service first opened on 3 November. Proposed prices remain decisions for the developer to review; the listing does not establish a guaranteed improvement in conversions.
