AFRICLOUD has opened a Lagos cloud region alongside its existing Lisbon and Johannesburg locations.
The provider announced the region in August 2026 and updated its information in October. The service allows customers to provision cloud servers hosted physically in Nigeria through the same platform used for its other regions.
For application teams, a local region adds a location choice for workloads and data. It does not remove the need to assess backup arrangements, support, security and the requirements of the application itself.
The launch adds to the range of African-hosted cloud services available to businesses. Technical performance and contractual commitments should be evaluated for the customer’s own deployment rather than assumed from geography alone.
