Wishh Wants to Build the Digital Infrastructure for the Celebration Economy

The celebration technology company is expanding beyond creating video reels into one connected ecosystem for wishes, gifts, memories, experiences and the businesses behind them.

Wishh, the celebration technology platform known for turning group video messages into shareable celebration reels, has outlined its plan to become the digital infrastructure for the celebration economy.

Every celebration involves the same scattered steps: collecting messages, deciding what to give, buying and delivering a gift, and keeping the memories afterwards. Today those steps live across group chats, shopping apps, delivery services and camera rolls. Wishh is bringing them into one connected platform, so people can celebrate the people who matter from the first wish to the final memory.

One ecosystem for the whole celebration journey

Wishh is organised around four connected products, each covering a different stage of a celebration.

Wishh Reels: collect the wishes. An organiser creates one link and shares it with friends, family or colleagues. Contributors record video messages from their phones without downloading an app, and Wishh combines them into a single celebration reel the organiser reviews, downloads and shares.

Wishlists: share what you would love. Celebrants share what they would love to receive, so guests can give thoughtful gifts instead of guessing.

Wishh Moments: keep the memories. At weddings, birthdays, graduations and corporate events, guests scan a QR code or open a link and upload their photos and videos into one shared gallery. Hosts see the event through the eyes of everyone who was there.

Wishh Marketplace: send the gift, book the experience. The upcoming marketplace will let people buy gifts such as cakes, flowers and curated gift boxes, and book experiences such as dining and spa treatments, then have gifts delivered to the person they are celebrating.

Together, the products connect the emotional side of a celebration with the practical side: what people say, what they give and what they remember.

The infrastructure behind the experience

Behind the consumer products, Wishh is building the network that makes celebrations happen in the real world.

Wishh for Business helps organisations celebrate employee birthdays, work anniversaries and customer milestones from one place. Teams can collect video messages from colleagues, schedule personalised celebration messages sent in the company’s name, and add gifts from the Marketplace. For distributed and remote teams, it offers a simple way for everyone to take part, wherever they work.

From a single reel to the whole celebration

“Celebrations are one of the most universal things people do, yet the tools around them are completely fragmented,” said Tochi Onuchukwu, founder of Wishh. “You collect messages in one place, shop in another, organise delivery somewhere else, and the photos end up scattered across everyone’s phones. We started with reels because the emotional moment matters most. Now we are connecting everything around it, so every special moment starts with Wishh.”

Wishh supports birthdays, weddings, graduations, anniversaries, baby naming ceremonies, farewells and workplace milestones, with users across Europe, Africa and North America.

Wishh is free to use, with paid upgrades for extra storage and custom links. Wishh Moments, the Wishh Marketplace and Wishh for Business are rolling out in phases.
