MetroFibre reports 17 graduates from disability-inclusive learnership

MetroFibre has reported that 17 young South Africans completed its fourth sponsored learnership cohort, almost all of them people living with disabilities.

The company says the learners earned an NQF Level 3 qualification in Contact Centre and Business Process Outsourcing Support. Training Force delivered the programme, while MetroFibre funded the training and monthly stipends.

The cohort began in September 2025 and graduated in August 2026; the company’s update was publicised in late October. This is a recent skills-development report, rather than a graduation held today. The qualification offers a route into customer-support and business-process roles, although completion should not be read as confirmation that every graduate has secured employment.
