Kano-based ENGAUSA Global Tech Hub has received a NITDA award recognising its work on inclusive digital literacy and technology skills.
The hub says founder Mustapha Habu Ringim received the recognition at a national workshop in Abuja on 20 October. Its training approach combines Hausa and English to help learners access practical technical knowledge.
Independent reporting, citing the National Digital Literacy Dashboard, puts ENGAUSA’s recorded training reach at 11,332 Nigerians since 2022. The figure describes cumulative participation. The organisation’s model draws attention to an often overlooked part of skills development: learners need instruction they can understand, as well as devices and internet access. The recognition is being covered in today’s edition as a recent ecosystem development.
