Cloudvantage launched a locally hosted cloud platform in Lagos on 14 October 2026, working with Rack Centre.

According to launch reporting, the platform is intended for businesses, including financial institutions, that want to run applications and manage data within Nigeria.

The company also outlined plans for a second region in Abuja. That planned expansion should be distinguished from the Lagos service announced at launch.

The development adds another local infrastructure option as organisations review where their workloads are hosted. Provider claims about availability and compliance support are part of the commercial proposition; each business still needs to assess the service against its own operational and regulatory requirements.
