The 15th Africa Internet Governance Forum is scheduled for 2–5 November 2026 in Accra, Ghana.
The forum brings together government, business, civil society, academia and technical participants to discuss the rules and institutions shaping the internet. Its agenda includes digital inclusion, trust, emerging technologies and data governance.
The gathering is a discussion forum, rather than a body whose conference sessions automatically create binding national law. Any resulting recommendations need to be distinguished from measures adopted by individual governments.
Registration and programme updates are available through the official forum channels. For the wider technology sector, the useful outcomes will include clear priorities and follow-up actions that can be tracked after the event.
