NCBA Group subsidiary LOOP Digital Financial Services has launched LOOP BIZ+, bringing payment acceptance, inventory tools, customer discovery and access to financing into one merchant platform.

Announced on 29 October, the service is available through a point-of-sale device, mobile application and web portal. Merchants can accept card, contactless, mobile-money and LOOP payments without treating each channel as a separate business system.

Businesses can also list products through LOOP Discover, a marketplace inside the LOOP consumer app. The company puts that app’s audience at more than 500,000 consumers; this is a potential discovery channel rather than a guarantee of sales for individual merchants.

The launch targets a familiar operational burden for small businesses: reconciling payments, stock and borrowing across disconnected tools. Access to financing is part of the offering, but merchants still need to establish which credit products and terms apply to their business.
